Nabana no sato tulip festival

Nabana no Sato is a vast flower garden associated with the Nagashima Resort of Mie prefecture. Located near to the Nagoya city of Aichi prefecture, Nagashima resort comprises the Nagashima Onsen, an outlet shopping mall and Nabana no Sato. Nabana no Sato flower park is famous for its Winter illumination. The winter illumination event of Nabano no Sato is held from November to May every year with unique themes of LED illuminations. Tulip festival: April-May

Being a vast flower park, Nabana no Sato hosts many seasonal events among which the Tulip festival is attracting people from various parts of the nation. Tulip festival of Nabana no Sato is conducted in April-May months. The entry pass for the garden during the Tulip festival is the same as that during the winter illuminations. 2300 yen which includes a shopping coupon worth 100 yen that we can make use of at some shops situated on the garden grounds. The vast garden grounds will be filled with Tulip flowers of various varieties and colours. Once we walk along the garden pavements, we can see other kinds of flowers too.

One end of the garden has an observation tower in the shape of Mount Fuji which lifts you to some 100 meters above the garden(Have special entry tickets).  This gives another heartwarming experience of the garden which can be viewed from various angles as the mushroom-shaped observation tower revolves around.

An observation deck with small food stalls is also present at one side of the garden which is right aside the huge Tulip gardens. One part of the Tulip garden is decorated in such a way that the kids can enjoy the shapes of their favourite cartoon characters like Anpanman, Baikinman etc.

Visiting the place in April-May afternoons will be a great chance to enjoy the Tulips in daylight and the illumination of evenings as well. There are many food stalls and souvenir shops located in various parts of the garden. The 1000 yen worth coupon that comes with the entry pass can be made use of at any of these shops.
