Ryusu Waterfalls(龍頭滝), Tochigi prefecture

Ryuzu no Taki is one of the main attractions of  Nikko area of the Tochigi prefecture. Ryuzu means ‘dragon headed’ and its shape looks like the head of a dragon. The area around this waterfall is the number one autumn foliage locations of the prefecture. The waterfall is situated in the middle of colourful trees during October- November. From the observation deck of the nearby rest house, visitors can enjoy the beauty of the falls. There are some souvenir shops, restaurants etc. associated with the rest house. This fall is part of Yugawa which ends up in Chuzenji lake.
